Akshay Kumar was coming out with as many as four films a year and working at breakneck speed. But that was before March 2020. Now, since the pandemic struck and the world went into lockdown mode, the ‘Bell Bottom’ actor had to slow it down like the rest of us. The unit of the film was mandated to be under the 14-day quarantine after landing in Scotland for the outdoor shoot. To compensate, Akshay, who is known to work only an 8-hour shift, has started working double-shifts. And this has surprised everyone on the sets as the star is known to be a stickler for rules. Producer Jackky Bhagnani, who wasn’t so surprised, says, “Akshay sir is truly a producer’s actor.” And why wouldn’t he be? After all, even Akki himself has been a producer of many films”.
