With each passing film, director-producer Rohit Shetty is trying to up the game of his cop universe consisting of ‘Singham’, ‘Simmba’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’. The stars of his film, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar appear in cameos in each others’ movies, crosslinking the stories. Now that Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are gearing-up for ‘Singham Again’, it will not just be a cameo for Akshay Kumar, rather a considerable role as Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) Chief Veer Sooryavanshi. Reports suggest that ‘Singham Again’ will go on the floors in August and the Rohit has roped in Akshay to play an extended part with Ajay rather than just a cameo. Ranveer, though, will stick to his special appearance. ‘Singham Again’ is supposed to release during Independence Day 2024 and could be the biggest cop film in terms of its cast and budget.
