Akshay Kumar is all set to begin the shooting of his next, ‘Ram Setu’, in Ayodhya. The actor will reportedly head to the state of Uttar Pradesh this week for the film’s ‘mahurat’ shot. He will be accompanied by director Abhishek Sharma and creative producer Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The makers decided to launch the production schedule of ‘Ram Setu’ with the blessings from the temple of Lord Ram. The film will feature Akki in the role of an archaeologist and his character will be inspired by several Indian and international professional archaeologists. Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha play the leading ladies in this venture. Akshay has been busy holidaying in Maldives with his family but upon his return, will plunge into the shoot of ‘Ram Setu’. The film is being co-produced by Lyca Productions which made ‘2.0’ with Rajnikant and Akki.
