Shahid Kapoor will be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s co-written and directed film ‘Bloody Daddy’, which will go straight to OTT skipping a theatrical release altogether. The actor had said that the cast and crew made the project keeping the sensibilities of the OTT audience in mind. Echoing these similar sentiments, Zafar says, “Indian audience is very simple. The language used in movies which people watch in theatres is very different. This film is based on drugs, it is gory and has a lot of blood. So, Shahid and I were very clear that we will remain very real to this script and this world and make it accordingly for the OTT.” As the name itself suggests, ‘Bloody Daddy’ is full of pure action and it is said that Shahid lost a lot of weight in real life throwing kicks and punches around in the film.
