It was recently finalized that Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan would play the lead roles in Karan Johar‘s latest directorial venture, Shuddhi. After lots of speculation and names thrown around for the cast, KJo tweeted out that Alia and Varun would star cast in the romantic film.
Speaking about her third film with the actor, Alia stated, “We started together in Student of the Year and we’ve done two films together so far. Shuddhi will be our third film together. He’s my buddy and we share a terrific bonding. We know exactly what the other is going to do in a scene.”
