Bollywood is abuzz with talk of ‘Housewife’ which is a forthcoming drama that could bring Alia Bhatt and Abhishek Pathak together for the first time. The project, centered on the everyday struggles of a married couple, casts Alia in the role of a homemaker navigating the complexities of domestic life. While Rajkummar Rao is rumored to be in contention for the male lead, his involvement remains unconfirmed making the pairing an exciting possibility. Beyond acting, Alia is also stepping in as co-producer through her Eternal Sunshine Productions joining forces with Pathak’s Panorama Studios. Filming is expected to roll out in late 2026 once Pathak wraps up ‘Drishyam 3’ the final installment of Ajay Devgn’s acclaimed thriller series.
