Anil Kapoor’s character of Shah Jahan, in period drama ‘Takht’, needs him to put on some ounces and inches around the waist. Being one of the fittest stars in the Bollywood industry since ages, Anil will be tweaking his diet from next year so that he can gain weight to play the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Karan Johar will take up the directorial reins for this war drama which features an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Anil Kapoor is expected to make a physical change early next year as the team begins shooting in 2019.
