In a historic move, India’s current Home Minister Amit Shah announced that Article 370, which gives special status to Kashmir, has been scrapped. Bollywood stars, who otherwise stay away from politics to avoid controversy, jumped into the ring to let their voice heard. Anupam Kher lauded the move and termed it as the ‘best move’, while Kangana Ranaut said in her statement, “Scrapping of Article 370 was long due. It is a historic step in the direction of terrorism-free nation. I have been emphasizing on this for the longest time.” Ekta Kapoor too welcomed the decision and shared, “It’s a radical decision but need of the hour!! Only hope Kashmir stays safe!”
