Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi have been extensively shooting for ‘OMG 2’ in Mumbai. Recent reports suggested that the film’s shoot had been halted due to a few members from the crew testing positive for Covid-19. Issuing a statement, producer Ashwin Varde clarified, “Three members of the crew were diagnosed Covid-19 positive 10 days back. They were immediately quarantined. As of today, they are well and on their way to recovery. I would also like to clarify that none of the film’s shooting was stalled due to this unfortunate episode. In fact, we completed our Mumbai schedule and have been on a break before we head to Ujjain to complete the rest of the film.” Directed by Amit Rai, ‘OMG 2’ is a sequel to Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal’s 2012 hit ‘OMG: Oh My God!’.
