Ayushmann Khurrana recently performed in New York as part of his US tour along with his band Bhava. During a break, the singer experienced an unexpected gesture wherein a fan threw US dollars at the actor on stage. Ayushmann looked surprised and tried to school the fan, “‘Paaji, aisa na karein, yaar.’ Please don’t do this. ‘Aise na karo aap. Uski charity kar dein, kuch kar dein, ye mat karein aap’, please. (Give it to some charity or elsewhere. Please don’t throw money like this). I love you. ‘Aapki bahut saari izzat hai, par aap iski please charity khul ke karein, bina kisi ko bataye, bina kisi ko dikhaye. Main kya karunga iska?’ (You are a respectable person. Please give this to charity without telling anyone or showing it to anyone. What would I do with it?)” As the actor-musician continued to croon and the audience was impressed with his thoughtful approach towards the gesture.
