Emraan Hashmi stepped into the shoes of India’s much loved ex-cricketer Mohd Azharuddin with ‘Azhar’. However, this take on cricket and match fixing don’t seem to have allured the audiences to watch the biopic. At the end of two weeks, ‘Azhar’ has collected Rs 29.65 crore. According to trade buzz, this Emraan Hashmi starrer will record a lifetime collection of Rs 30 crore or just a little more. Emraan’s last film, ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’, collected about Rs 34 crore at the box office and this movie too is heading in the same direction. ‘Azhar’ was released on about 2,100 screens across the country.
