‘Bachchan Pandey’ To Release Holi 2022

While theatres are shut and the future of films is still uncertain, Akshay Kumar is adamant that he will continue to entertain. After delivering a blockbuster like ‘Sooryavanshi’ on Diwali last year, the actor is set to cash in on the festive Holi weekend with ‘Bachchan Pandey’. Releasing on March 18th, this film may clash at the box office with the Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Shamshera’. As for ‘Bachchan Pandey’, the film also stars Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles. ‘Bachchan Pandey’ reportedly features Akshay in the role of a gangster who aspires to be an actor while Kriti Sanon essays the role of a journalist who wishes to become a director. All hopes are now pinned on the reopening of theatres across India.
