The Ba***ds of Bollywood is now streaming on Netflix! The cast and crew made their grand debut on September 17th at Mumbai’s iconic Grand Theatre at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. More than just a premiere, the evening became a cultural zeitgeist moment for India bringing together the global South Asian creative community and Bollywood’s finest in celebration of the much-anticipated series. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainments, the series is directed and created by Aryan Khan, son of Indian superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, and co-creators Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, all of whom have also written the series.
The premiere brought about global press influencers from Australia, USA, UK, Canada and more to join India’s most iconic stars, filmmakers, and tastemakers. The Grand Theatre shimmered with excitement as the who’s who of the industry walked the red carpet in support of Netflix’s bold new series about the Indian film industry. The audience enjoyed remarks from Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria and both Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan. The truly magical night etched The Ba***ds of Bollywood into the history of both Netflix and Indian content.
