Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma recently surprised their fans when they both rode a pillion with respective riders. While Bachchan took a lift from a totally unknown person, Anushka reached her destination on a bike which is owned by her bodyguard. But the Mumbai Police have said that they will act against the celebrities for riding without helmets. A photo and a video of both riding on separate bikes went viral. Big B shared his picture on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Thank you for the ride, buddy. I don’t know you but you obliged and got me on time to the location of work, faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams. Thank you, capped, shorts and yellowed T -Shirt owner.” Anushka too took the two-wheeler ride to save time. As soon as these audio visuals went viral, some people started tagging the Mumbai Police, drawing their attention to both riding without helmets. Immediately springing into action, Mumbai Police said, “We have shared this with traffic branch.” An update regarding the same is awaited.
