Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had expressed her interest in the remake of ‘Woh Kaun Thi’, when makers Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor had approached her. However, things didn’t move ahead from there and the latest buzz suggests that Bipasha Basu has been roped in to play the lead. Prernaa had acquired the remake rights of the Manoj Kumar-Sadhana-starrer ‘Woh Kaun Thi’ and the film’s new cast will now include Bipasha Basu and Prernaa’s producer-partner Arjun N Kapoor. Apparently, Arjun was planning a Bollywood debut since some time and ‘Woh Kaun Thi’ remake seems to have arrived as his perfect launch pad.
