The Indian film industry seems is going through difficult times. Shoots had just begun after almost a year and the orders to shut them down yet again have been circulated. With the rising threat of possibly a greater rise of coronavirus infections in the country, the Government of Maharashtra issued new orders in which Bollywood shoots have been asked to be on halt until May 1st. With that, Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Pathan’ and the Prabhas-starrer ‘Adipurush’ are some of the films that have hit the pause button as far as shooting is concerned. There’s also section 144 in place which prohibits gathering of five or more people in one place. Needless to say that the losses are mounting to crores of rupees for the producers and the same will continue for more days to come.
