Bollywood Pays Tribute To Satish Kaushik

Known as one of the most talented and happy-go-lucky people in Bollywood, Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66 due to a massive heart attack. As he leaves a vacuum in the Indian film industry, tributes poured in from Bollywood celebs for the man who always had a smile on his face. Farah Khan Kunder paid her last respects saying, “Too sudden and too sad… the kindest, happiest man,” by sharing his picture. Director and colleague Subhash Ghai shared his picture with Satish Kaushik and wrote, “It’s just heart shattering news for me that we lost one of our best friends, dear Satish, a man who always laughed even in the worst crisis and stood by anyone in crisis. A great artiste, greater human being and the greatest friend I know. He left us so sudden, so soon.” Manoj Bajpayee, Varun Dhawan, Arbaaz Khan and even Neha Dhupia and Bhumi Pednekar remembered Kaushik with their best memories of him. Karan Johar said, “This is the saddest and extremely shocking news to wake up to… Such a solid actor and an immensely gracious and kind man… RIP, sir. This is a grave loss to our cinema and the fraternity.” Salman Khan Tweeted, “Always loved, cared and respected him. Shall always remember him for the man that he was. May his soul rest in peace. Strength to the family and loved ones. RIP, Satishji.” Satish Kaushik was known to be best friends with Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher who shared their own heartfelt tributes.
