The trend of remaking Southern films in Hindi still doesn’t seem to have slowed down. While there are umpteen examples like ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Ghajini’ to talk about, Ajay Devgn too recently announced the Telugu hit ‘Naandhi’ to be remade in Hindi. Now, producer Boney Kapoor has reportedly planned on remaking ‘One’ in Hindi. ‘One’ is originally a Malayalam film directed by Santhosh Vishwanath and stars Mammootty. It is also coming to light that the producer has purchased the rights of the film not just for Hindi but also to remake in all Indian languages. Since Boney has many films on hand, ‘One’ is expected to hit the floors only in the first quarter of 2022. The story revolves around politics and rampant corruption in the system.
