Juno Chopra’s production house BR Films and Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment have joined hands to remake a cult classic. ‘The Burning Train’ hit the screens back in 1980 and was said to be ahead of its time for attempting the ‘disaster’ genre. Though it did not do too well at the box office back then, it gained a cult following with repeat showings on tv, home video and now streaming platforms. ‘The Burning Train’ original star cast included Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna, Parveen Babi, Jeetendra and Neetu Singh apart from a strong list of character artistes. The same is now being remade by Juno and Jackky who will start the project by the second half of 2020. Just like its predecessor, ‘The Burning Train’ remake will be a multi-starrer, casting for which will be done in due course.
