It will be a clash between the two biggies this Friday. Deepika Padukone’s ‘Chhapaak’ is expected to hit about 1,000 screens whereas Ajay Devgn’s ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ is ready to release on approximately 3,500 screens. This is more than three times the ‘Chhapaak’ screen count, but one must keep in mind that ‘Tanhaji’ is also dubbed in Marathi to keep its authentic flavour intact. Another big difference between the two is that Deepika shoulders the weight of the film alone, while ‘Tanhaji’ also stars Kajol and Saif Ali Khan. Trade suggests that ‘Chhapaak’ will open between Rs 5 and 7 crore whereas ‘Tanhaji’ opening is predicted at Rs 12-15 crore. This is going to be one hot winter weekend.
