Web giant Netflix has roped in filmmakers SS Rajamouli and Deva Katta to co-direct the prequel of ‘Baahubali’, which will be titled ‘Shivagami’. The web series will be a three-season-show with a huge budget of 2 million USD per episode. An excited Deva Katta confirms, “The ‘Baahubali’ series made a huge impact with its unique way of storytelling. This prequel promises to amp up the excitement of all the ‘Baahubali’ fans. I am really honoured to be a part of this project and be able to work with Rajamouli sir.” Deva Katta will soon make his Bollywood debut as director with Sanjay Dutt-starrer ‘Prasthaanam’.
