Composer / Singer Wajid Khan Dies at 43

2020 is turning out to be a devastating year for the world and the Indian film fraternity. After losing Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor recently, today the industry lost composer / singer Wajid Khan of the famed hit composing duo Sajid-Wajid. While details of his death have still to be confirmed, according to reports, the composer was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai and was on a ventilator. He passed away early Monday morning (India time). Wajid, who along with his brother Sajid Khan produced music for many Bollywood hits including Dabangg and Wanted had been suffering from an illness for the past few years.

Sanjay Tandon of the Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS) confirmed the news on a website, saying that he had received a message that he was not well and that he had been hospitalised.
