The Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu starrer ‘Crew’ seems to have taken off at the global box office. Despite a little competition from other films like ‘Madgaon Express’, ‘Yodha’, ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ and even ‘Shaitaan’, ‘Crew’ has managed an opening of Rs 10.28 crore at the ticket windows in India. Even though it was a long weekend due to Good Friday, fans seemed to have thronged the theatres during the holiday. The Saturday and Sunday figures stand a testimony to this with further Rs 10.87 crore and Rs 11.45 crore respectively. This has made the collections Rs 32.60 crore nett only at the domestic box office. Club this with gross international collection, and director Rajesh Krishnan made the cast and crew as well as his producers proud with a Rs 62.52 crore opening with its theatrical release.
