Chicago-based Indian food startup The Cumin Club celebrated 3 years in business with an intimate dinner in Brooklyn, New York. Launched in 2019, The Cumin Club delivers authentic, regionally-diverse Indian meals made in five-minutes, starting at just $4.99/meal. The Cumin Club offers vegan and vegetarian dishes from all over India from classic Indian street food like Pav Bhaji to comforting bowls of Pongal and Bisibelebath. With 30+ dishes and a constantly growing menu, the demand for its meal kits has skyrocketed over the past year.
To celebrate this success and mark their 3-year milestone, the company hosted an intimate dinner where leading South Asian influencers had the opportunity to try multiple The Cumin Club recipes and take some meal kits to prepare at home. The event was held at The Overlook with a scenic New York City as the backdrop. The evening was curated by Neerja Public Relations and Brown Girl Magazine with Shivaani Anns performing as the musical guest.
Harish Visweswaran, co-founder of The Cumin Club said “We couldn’t have asked for a better audience for our 3rd-year anniversary celebration. It was great to pause and reflect on what the brand has accomplished so far while also celebrating with friends, family, and NYC’s South Asian influencer community. It was amazing to see the overwhelmingly positive reactions we received on the dishes that were served and the praise on the authentic flavors and high quality.”
“Our mission is to make authentic Indian food accessible to all,” says Ragoth Bala, co-founder of The Cumin Club. “We are proud that our chef-crafted meals are made from high-quality spices sourced from different regions of India, and that we have an all-natural label with no added artificial preservatives.”
The Cumin Club aims to take Indian food mainstream in the future with geographic expansion, selling on additional channels, new pantry offerings, and much more. For more information on The Cumin Club, visit www.thecuminclub.com
