Zaira Wasim shared a teary video on Instagram explaining her ordeal of a horrifying molestation incident while on-board a Vistara flight. The 17-year-old National Award winner received tremendous support on social media and the accused too was promptly arrested. Reacting to the same, veteran actress Sridevi, who is a mother of two daughters, said, “It is very scary, upsetting and unpleasant. I am in shock.” Kareena Kapoor Khan too went on to support Zaira stating that women should fight in any given situation, “Women are fighters and whatever be the situation, be it personal or professional, we all come out as fighters.” ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ actress Bhumi Pednekar expressed shock over the incident, “I am really appalled, she is a child. I am glad that she has put it on social media. You need a lot of courage to speak out.” The accused, Vikas Sachdev was arrested by the Mumbai police as soon as the news came into light.
