Deepika Padukone apparently extended support to Ranveer Singh when the actor was injured shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Playing a close friend to Ranveer, Deepika said, “I think that is what friends do and that’s what they are for. When you are down and out and you need strength, when you need support, you need to be encouraged. When things go well then everyone is there for you. But your family and friends are really there for you when you need them the most, and I think that is what I was doing.”
