While Deepika Padukone may be a top notch actress in Bollwood, she doesn’t get paid the way the big actors do. Expressing the need for moneywise equality in the industry, Deepika said, “It is a long debate. Processes need to be put in place. And of course, there are so many other factors. It is true that the guys get paid way more than the girls but there is also a reason for that. Now times are changing. So now we need to start adapting to it.” The actress further states that she has not yet lost hope. “I am optimistic about it and I feel that the beginning is already happening,” added Deepika.
