Deepika Padukone is set to appear at the prestigious MET Gala in New York, which clashes with the big Bollywood wedding of Sonam Kapoor. Deepika will attend the MET Gala on May 7 and walk the red carpet at the 71st Cannes Film Festival on May 10. Sonam’s wedding is slated for May 7 and 8. Deepika and Sonam have not had a great camaraderie and a busy schedule seems to have given the former the opportunity to skip her contemporary’s gala affair. Interestingly, their common link, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to attend the wedding!
