Dia Mirza is the latest Bollywood actress to make an entry on the small screen. The actress will be hosting a travel-adventure TV show ‘Ganga – The Soul of India’ based in North India. “I feel really special to have got this opportunity to meet people and have real conversations. It was a priceless experience and I could not believe that I was getting paid for this,” says the actress. While she has fewer hits in Bollywood, Dia Mirza is banking her hopes on this new venture. Dia says, “Both the mediums are unique, it depends on the story or the narrative of the medium. For me, television is a unique opportunity because it is a platform which reaches directly to people’s homes.”
