Dilip Kumar was hospitalised last week due to his deteriorating health condition and his fans all over the world had started praying for the legendary actor. As a signal that their prayers would have been answered, Dilip Kumar is expected to be discharged from the hospital soon. Updating about his health, Kumar’s spokesperson Faisal Farooqui says, “Thank you for your prayers. A successful pleural aspiration (to remove fluid or air for easier breathing) procedure was performed on Dilip Saab. I personally spoke with Dr Jalil Parkar and Dr Nitin Gokhale. They are optimistic that he will be discharged on Thursday.” While fans could rejoice with this piece of news, the frail actor’s visits to hospital have increased of late. This time he was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar after complaining of breathlessness.
