Kapil Sharma-produced and starrer ‘Firangi’ did not strike a chord with the audiences and started off on a poor note with just Rs 2.10 crore on its opening day and another Rs 2 crore on Saturday at the box office. The film was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 45 crore and going by that, ‘Firangi’ could very well prove to be a loss-making project for Kapil. While the film was surrounded by all the negative publicity, thanks to Kapil’s much talked about on-flight brawl with Sunil Grover, critics too panned ‘Firangi’ in one voice.
