Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta have been caught in controversy over their endorsement of Maggi which is being tested for lead content. However, a fellow industry person, Varun Dhawan comes out strongly against this. The actor said, “I don’t think that they (stars) should be held liable because then in that sense the director, the producer and all attached should be held liable. Don’t only hold the celebrity liable. I have heard all the arguments on the news channels and they make for very interesting news but what is happening is unfortunate. We don’t want anyone from the country to be harmed. And if the product is harming, especially our children, then it should not be allowed.”
