Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ has finally completed a week at the box office. But the figures may not be something to boast about, especially keeping in mind SRK’s last couple of superhit films. Dunki released on December 21st and managed to earn Rs 28 crore on its opening day at the ticket windows in India. Subsequent days saw a slump in collections as this Rajkumar Hirani directorial garnered Rs 20 crore and Rs 24.50 crore on Friday and Saturday respectively. By the end of the first few days, the makers went home with Rs 101.50 crore. As the figures for six days’ are in, ‘Dunki’ now stands at Rs 133.50 crore at the domestic box office. Club this with the worldwide gross collection of the film, it has earned Rs 268.36 crore which is far less than Shah Rukh Khan’s recent releases, ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’.
