While Anurag Kashyap has gone all guns blazing against the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for his next film ‘Udta Punjab’, co-producer Ekta Kapoor is keeping mum on the controversy. The high profile producer recently returned after a spiritual birthday celebration in Tirupati and revealed the reason for maintaining silence. Ekta Kapoor said, “Anurag and I have discussed that we should have only one spokesperson instead of having various people talk. Hence I have decided to have a no comments stand to everything.” While it was reported that Ekta Kapoor does not support Anurag Kashyap’s stand, the filmmaker stood by his side strongly at a press conference held to discuss the controversy.
