Emraan Hashmi has done several tough roles in his career, but playing Mohd Azharuddin on the silver screen for ‘Azhar’ may have been the most difficult job! The actor apparently had to practice a lot on the cricket field. “Azhar bhai is the most accomplished batsman and coming close to even how he plays is very tough. He was one of the highest run scorers at a time, while I was an average player. Thanks to Azhar bhai who taught me a lot of things. I was more of an off side player, but I had to play on the leg side as that’s how Azhar bhai plays. It took me about 3-4 months of grilling training to perfect it,” says the actor. Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Azhar’ will hit the screens on May 13.
