As soon as the first look of ‘Toofan’ was launched, it went viral on the Internet. ‘Toofan’, starring Farhan Akhtar and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, is a sports film based on boxing. Farhan plays the boxer Alok Oberoi, while Paresh Rawal portrays his coach Lambodar Sandhu. Impressing all, Farhan is seen in a beefed up body, looking every inch of a professional boxer in the first look poster, which was launched today. The film rolled out on the day of Janmashtami in August and is scheduled to release on 2nd October 2020. ‘Toofan’ is jointly produced by Akhtar and Mehra, along with Ritesh Sidhwani. For trivia lovers, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar had joined hands way back in 2013 when they had done ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ together.
