Sunny Deol has been in the industry for over 30 years. And so has his family, starting with his father and veteran actor Dharmendra. While sunny gave hit after hit during his heyday, it is now time to reap benefits. Sunny’s film ‘Ghayal’ celebrates silver jubilee this year. The film was released 25 years back, in 1990, and bagged seven Filmfare Awards for the year including Best Film and Best Actor. Sunny also received one of the most prestigious awards, National Film Award (Special Jury) for ‘Ghayal’. And while many would just be content with celebrating the milestone and success of their work, the Deol family has gone a step ahead and planned a sequel to the film, ‘Ghayal Once Again’, which is slated to hit the screens this Diwali. A perfect way to pay tribute to the earlier magnum opus and celebrate the occasion simultaneously, we say!
