Vidya Balan made waves with the news of quitting Kamala Das biopic titled ‘Aami’ over creative issues. Soon, it was rumored that Tabu has been approached as a replacement. While the ‘Cheeni Kum’ actress was in negotiations for the same, she eventually preferred an offer by Rohit Shetty for ‘Golmaal 4’ over the Malayalam biopic. Tabu apparently had Rohit Shetty and team sketch out an elaborate role for her in the film, which was initially said to be just a cameo. Tabu was last seen in ‘Fitoor’ wherein she replaced veteran actress Rekha.
