Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan have come together for ‘Good News’. Produced by Karan Johar, the film will also feature another couple, Diljit Dosanj and Kiara Advani. ‘Good News’ will explore the life of a couple staying in Delhi and will be directed by debutant director Raj Mehta, who has previously been an assistant in Dharma Productions’ projects – ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Kapoor & Sons’. After having worked in films like ‘Ajnabee’, ‘Tashan’ and ‘Kambakkht Ishq’, Akki and Bebo will come together after a long time. ‘Good News’ is scheduled to release on July 19, 2019, facing no competition at the box office so far.
