Govinda’s comeback after his political stint was a comedy alongside Salman Khan. The duo tickled people’s funny bones with ‘Partner’ but post that there has been no major hit from Govinda, though a sequel to the same has been eagerly awaited. “When I had just moved out of politics, Salman was with me. I thank him and may God bless him. I believe that one should not have too many expectations from a person that his professional life gets strained.” Back in the ’90s, Govinda ruled the comedy films, however, his decision to plunge into politics became a bitter experience.
