Oscar winning actress Halle Berry is in India and she bonded with Bollywood beauty Dia Mirza at a private event in suburban Mumbai. Being a fan of Bollywood, Halle quipped curious questions about the industry. Informing what transpired, Dia says, “With Hollywood actresses bringing up the issue of pay parity, Halle wanted to know how our film industry functions and what role women play in changing things here. I told her that we too are learning to say ‘no’ because we know that we deserve better. We are writing, directing and producing apart from acting.” The two empowered women chatted away about climate change, pay parity, children and a lot more. “Halle has fallen in love with India and I am pretty sure she will come back,” adds Dia.
