Sonakshi Sinha-starrer ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ recorded a slow start at the box office, with collecting only Rs 2.70 crore on its opening day. The film fared better in Delhi and East Punjab circuits, collecting figures similar to its first part which released in 2016. The film recorded a positive growth over the weekend when it did a business of Rs 4.03 crore on Saturday and Rs 5.05 crore on Sunday, registering a total collection of Rs 11.78 crore. ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ has managed to score a bit more than its prequel, ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’, which had made Rs 10.70 crore in its first weekend.
