‘Hungama 2’, starring Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty, Meezaan Jaffrey and Pranitha Subhash, is all slated to release on an OTT platform and ditching the theatrical release all together. The film was originally scheduled to release on August 14th this year, after numerous delays thanks to the worldwide pandemic. ‘Hungama 2’ has been in the making for a while and makers finally wrapped up the comedy in February of this year. Although the entire cast and crew would have loved releasing the sequel to ‘Hungama’ in theatres, the government across many states has ordered cinema halls to remain stay closed. With the future still in limbo, producer Ratan Jain of Venus Entertainment seems to have taken a tough call with director Priyadarshan and opt for a digital release.
