From being a staunch feminist to raising her voice over pay disparity in Bollywood, Sonam Kapoor has never backed down from sharing her opinion. When the actress is asked about racism, she says, “Racism exists all over the world and I don’t think it is specific to India. Racism and intolerance both are not specific to India. They are something that are across the globe. I have faced racism all over the world, so we should not say that only Indians are racist.” The actress further went on to add that literacy plays an important role in such matters, “The reason education has always been my favorite is because it makes people aware and less ignorant. It helps people make decisions that are more thoughtful, as opposed to behaving like hooligans or staying in a jungle.”
