International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is held every year in Goa. The 51st edition of the event was to be held from November 20-28th in the city of the sun, sand and sea, but is now postponed. Thanks to Covid-19 cases increasing rapidly in India, IFFI is pushed to next year. The film festival is now scheduled for January 16th – 24th 2021 with a hybrid format, that will be in virtual and physical setups. Started in 1952, IFFI became a regular affair from 1975 and is organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Goa and the Indian film industry.
