Agastya Nanda stepped into cinema halls with ‘Ikkis’ marking his first appearance on the big screen. The project had already drawn attention long before its release and curiosity surrounded how the newcomer would fare. The film also carries a poignant note as it features the final performance of veteran actor Dharmendra who passed away recently. On its opening day, the war drama collected Rs 7 crore, according to Sacnilk. In comparison, the romantic comedy ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ managed Rs 7.75 crore when it launched, backed by a cast of familiar names. Reports further indicate that ‘Ikkis’ registered 31.94 percent occupancy in Hindi markets on January 1, 2026. Audience reactions have been mixed, leaving the coming weeks crucial in determining how the biopic will shape its box office journey.
