Shahid Kapoor, in his lawyer act in ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, will lock horns in the court with Ileana D’Cruz, who could be the strong headed lawyer in the drama. Shree Narayan Singh, the director of ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, will be directing this film and makers are in talks with Ileana to play an impactful role. Katrina Kaif and Shraddha Kapoor are reportedly in the race to play Shahid’s love interest in ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’. The film will showcase the issue of electricity shortage. The team will begin shooting from January 2018.
