Punjabi singer, rapper and actor Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in broad daylight in the Mansa district on May 29th 2022. At age 28, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu was better known by his stage name Sidhu Moose Wala and was world famous for his Punjabi rap. Sidhu was also attached to the congress party. While some of the Bollywood celebrities condoled his death on social media, overseas Canadian rapper Drake also paid his tribute to the singer. Varun Dhawan wrote, “RIP. Your words and music will live on. Can’t believe this.” Sara Ali Khan expressed her shock by saying, “RIP. Deeply saddened by this tragic death. Your legendary music will live on.” Ranveer Singh and many other A-listers shared Moose Wala’s pictures to express their grief. Drake too shared his picture in his Instagram story and wrote, “RIP Moose.” It is said that Drake used to follow Moose on Instagram.
