One of the biggest shows on earth, the Oscars took place today and the Bollywood celebrities that passed away were remembered at the prestigious event. In Memoriam section at the Awards paid tribute to the late actor Irrfan Khan while costume designer Bhanu Athaiya was also remembered in the memoriam video. Irrfan and Bhanu were two of the successful crossover celebrities from Bollywood. Irrfan passed away in April 2020 while we said goodbye to Bhanu in October last year. Though the Oscars didn’t mention veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput in the video, the two actors received special mentions on its website. In its photo gallery, Rishi and Sushant made it to its ‘A Look Back’ section along with other stalwarts.
