Acting and producing films are nothing new to John Abraham. The ‘Mumbai Saga’ actor has produced films like ‘Vicky Donor’, ‘Madras Café’ and ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’ in the past. Now, John is scoping the Southern film industry as well. He will produce a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ which had released in February 2020, a month before the lockdown. It was a super-duper hit and hence John wants to remake the same in Hindi. Written and directed by Sachy, ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in lead roles. It tells the story of a conflict between two defence personnel. It is not yet clear whether he will also act in this remake as John has ‘Pathan’, ‘Ek Villain Returns’, ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ and ‘Attack’ in the making.
